Alongside the newsletter, we run the CV Digest Business Directory and CV Digest Jobs — three connected ways for local businesses to reach local customers and local hires. We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to be the face of all three in the community.

You will represent three products — and most businesses are a fit for more than one. Your job is to help each business pick the right combination.

Help employers stand out on CV Digest Jobs — cvdigestjobs.com — so their open roles get seen by Valley job seekers first.

• What you will do

Connect in person: prospect, visit, and build relationships with local businesses across the Coachella Valley — restaurants, shops, services, venues, employers, and more.

Sell all three products: present and sell ad space in CV Digest, Featured Listings in the Business Directory, and Featured Job Listings on CV Digest Jobs.

Own your territory: build and manage your own pipeline, follow up consistently, and keep accurate notes on every conversation and next step.

Close and care for accounts: get agreements signed, coordinate what each client needs to go live, and check back in so clients renew and grow with us.

Be visible in the community: represent CV Digest at local businesses and community moments — you are often the first person a business meets from us.

• Who you are

A self-starter who likes being out in the field, not behind a desk all day — you would rather walk into a business and start a conversation than wait for leads to come to you.

Comfortable talking with owners and managers, listening first, and explaining value in plain, honest language.

Organized and persistent: you follow up, you follow through, and you do not let a good prospect go quiet.

Familiar with the Coachella Valley — you live here, know its cities and neighborhoods, and genuinely like local business.

Sales experience is a plus, especially outside, field, media, advertising, or local B2B sales — but a strong work ethic, reliability, and a real connection to the Valley matter just as much.

You have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for travel throughout the Valley.
